Big Questions

One question. Different perspectives. A room full of young minds.

A weekly gathering where children and teenagers explore philosophical, social and political questions through discussion and structured debate. Curiosity drives the conversation, and they build soft skills that last: reasoning, listening and speaking with confidence.

Who is it for?

Juniors aged 9–12 and teens aged 13–17. Rather than teaching young people what to think, the programme develops the confidence to think independently.

What happens in a session?

Each gathering begins with a question that invites reflection and disagreement, then moves toward a structured exchange.

Learning aims

  • Thinking independently
  • Questioning assumptions
  • Defending arguments and listening to different perspectives

Example activities

  • Open discussion of a single question
  • Structured debate

Questions parents ask

Will you tell my child what to think?

No. The programme develops the confidence to think independently and to listen to other perspectives.
